Logan Volunteer Fire Department protects 1200 citizens living in a rural area of 245 square miles with 30 active
firefighters.  With Ute Lake in our response area our population increases to over 3000 during the summer
months.  We have mutual-aid agreements with bordering departments, as well as being "on call" for the New
 Mexico Department of Forestry for urban wildfire interface. We operate out of 2 stations and have an ISO rating of 7.
