- The Logan Police Department is a full service department consisting of four full-time sworn
officers. At present the officers have over 60 years combined experience to draw on. In addition to being fully certified New Mexico law enforcement officers thru the New Mexico
Department of Public Service Training Bureau, they have advanced training in most areas of law enforcement including investigations, narcotics investigations, undercover work, evidence gathering,
administrative issues and several other fields.
Each officer has a take home car, a department cell phone and is available for immediate call
out if needed. At least one officer is on call 24 hours a day. At present officers are dispatched by Central Dispatch located in Tucumcari, NM which dispatches for all of the area agencies. The
Logan Police Department works closely with the NM State Police, Quay County Sheriff's Department and the Ute Lake State Park officers.
